Korean food generally isn’t extremely hot, although there are spicy dishes. This dish in particular is real yum when it’s spicy but Korean levels of spiciness are nothing compared to hot Thai dishes, or even the really spicy Indian dishes like a vindaloo.

I understand. I figure having grown up in Indiana surrounded by mostly blondes of Germanic heritage did that to me. The rest were brunettes of European backgrounds.
